Purpose of this page
This page explains how we create content on Longevity Our Way, how we verify information and what source standards we use. We publish material on healthy living and longevity, so credibility, transparency and timeliness are our priorities.
1) Mission and scope
Longevity Our Way publishes mostly evidence-based content: scientific research, evidence-based medicine (EBM), institutional recommendations, and proven lifestyle practices. Our goal is to help readers understand longevity in a clear and practical way.
Important: our content is informational, not medical, and is not a substitute for medical advice. Health decisions should be made in consultation with a doctor or other qualified professional.
2) Editorial independence
We create editorial content independently of advertisers and partners. If the material is sponsored or contains affiliate links, we clearly and visibly indicate this. When describing a product, service or programme, we are guided by substantive criteria and transparency.
3) Authorship and responsibility
Each article has an assigned author (or team) and publication date. For particularly sensitive topics (health, supplementation, biomarkers, diseases), we strive for additional editorial verification. If the text has been reviewed by an expert, this information is included in the content (e.g., ‘Reviewed by…’ / ‘Reviewed by…’), along with a brief identification of their competence.
4) Fact-checking process
We prepare our materials based on publications from reliable sources and expert statements. We do not invent or write about orders that do not come from recognised sources.
Language: we avoid sensational generalisations, promises of ‘guaranteed results’ and simple solutions to complex problems.
5) Sources policy
We prefer sources with the highest credibility. Where possible, we provide a link to the publication. When we quote statistics, we try to refer to the original sources.
7) Corrections policy
If we detect an error, we correct it as quickly as possible. For significant corrections, we add a note to the article, e.g. ‘Correction dated…’. If you notice an error, please contact us and provide the URL of the article and the section requiring verification.
8) Conflict of interest and transparency
Authors and editors disclose potential conflicts of interest if they relate to the topic being covered. Sponsored and affiliate content is marked as such. We do not publish hidden product placements as editorial content.
9) AI tools and editorial responsibility
We may use support tools (e.g. for language correction, summarising notes or organising material). The editorial team is responsible for the content, selection of sources and final conclusions. We verify medical and scientific information according to the rules described above.
10) How to cite our content
If you cite Longevity Our Way, please provide the title and link to the article. For health topics, we strongly recommend verifying the information in the original sources.
11) Contact
For corrections, editorial cooperation or questions about sources, please contact us via the ‘Contact’ page.
